Chapter 67

Hi everyone,

this will be my last post for a little while. I'm moving into a new apartment and the provider told me that it can take between two and four weeks till I'm hooked up again.
So, here's a little temporary goodbye chapter. I hope you like it...oh, and I wouldn't read it at work. ;)

~ Kris ~

Together they stumbled towards the stairs to the upper level of her apartment. Not wanting to break the kiss it turned out to be a little complicated. Jon pushed at her shirt eagerly and made her stumble backwards, not seeing the first step Kim landed right on the steps with her back.

“Shit, you ok, honey?” Jon stared down at her concerned. She was quite a sight. Her hair already all tousled, her hard nipples visible through the fine lace of her black bra, her skin flushed and her blue eyes dark as midnight.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” She answered still breathing strongly.

When Jon pulled her to his feet again, she couldn’t resist and launched herself at him again. He groaned when her small hand rubbed him through the denim of his jeans.

Not wanting to risk another tumble, he picked her up and carried her upstairs to her bedroom. He kicked the door close behind him before putting her down on the huge mattress.

Kim immediately fumbled with his shirt and tried to get it off him. She pushed him down beside her and strangled his lap. Her hands moved roughly over his now exposed and well build chest. Jon groaned and arched into her touch when she lashed her mouth down on his nipples.

“Kimi!” his hands got a hold of her long tresses and pulled her back slightly. He needed to be sure she really wanted this to be as passionate and rough as she was indicating.

Her eyes found his and she saw the unspoken question in them.

“I need you, Jon. I missed you so much, I need you.” Her husky voice made him nearly come in his pants.

“God, Kimi.” He pushed her off him and nearly ripped her jeans of her body. In a flash, he’d stripped off her lingerie and let his hands wander over her naked body.

“Jon, yes…” every time he touched her, her body arched into his touch. She had the feeling she would drown if he wouldn’t take her now.

“Are you wet, Kimi. Wet for me?” he whispered low in her ear and softly bit her earlobe.

“Yes, god…yes….please…”

He found his way to her core and roughly entered her with two fingers. She arched off the bed.

“JON, …..YES…”

His hand moved faster and he watched fascinated how she met each of his strokes with her hips. She bit down on her lip when his thumb rubbed over her clit and tried not to come immediately. Jon sensed her holding back and touched her cheek to get her attention.

She opened her eyes and saw his only inches away. His eyes showed pure lust.

“Come for me.” He told her and pinched one of her nipples roughly with his free hand.

“Oh,….JOOOOOONNNN!” her body reacted instantly. She felt the familiar tingle in her belly and in the next second the orgasm rushed through her making her tremble uncontrollable.

Jon watched how her head trashed from side to side and her legs went limb while shaking. When he felt her slowly coming down again, he removed his fingers and got rid of his jeans.

Positioning himself back on the bed he raised her still limb legs and put them both on his shoulders. His hard one was only inches away from entering her, but he wanted her full attention, before he would send her over the edge again.

“Kim, are you still with me?”

Slowly her eyes flattered open and she spotted Jon between her legs. Her pulse quickened when she realized what he planned to do next.

“Yes.” She whispered and raised her hips towards him. Just the sight of him had her all wet and tinkly again. She just wasn’t sure she would survive another orgasm like this.

With one long push he entered her hot flesh.

“Oh, my…” she moaned and tried to meet each of his hard strokes. He was close to the edge himself, but wanted her to fly again. His face was screwed up in concentration and his hands held her legs incredibly tight. She was sure she’s have some bruises tomorrow.

“Come on, Kimi…” he hissed through his teeth and raised her legs a little higher. She gasped loudly as the friction started to build up even more. She trusted forward, wanted, needed more. For long minutes the only sound in the room was their labored breathing and the sweaty meeting of their heated bodies.

“Harder…Harder….Jon….” her own words were a surprise to her. Jon let go of her legs, grabbed her hip firmly and started to pump her furiously.

“YEEESSS….YEEEESSSS….JOOOONNNN….YEEEESSSSSS!!!” her screams echoed back from the walls when his roughly treatment sent her over the edge again.

“KIIIIIMMMMMMIIII!” he followed her only seconds later.

Exhausted they both collapsed and tried to get their breathing under control. In the faint distance of her clouded mind Kim could hear a sound, but couldn’t place it.

“You ok?” Jon could barely speak. She only nodded against his chest, before he slipped off her and rolled onto his back.

The sound got louder. Irritated Jon raised his head and looked around.

“The dogs are barking.” Kim eyes flew open.

“What?” she tried to sit up, but moaned when her muscles protested. Jon had more luck. He got to his feet and pulled on his jeans, before opening the bedroom door.

Right in front of him, the dogs barked as if their lives would depend on. When they spotted him, their barking turned into a deep dangerous growl.

“Whoa, Whoa…easy there boys.” Jon raised his hand defensively and moved slowly backwards with the dogs right on his toe.

“Kimi…” he sounded a little scared.

Kim sat up slowly and watched her dogs confused.

Why would they react like this?

Then it hit her.

“Kidd, Sambo off!” her voice was strong. Immediately the dogs stopped growling, but made sure Jon wouldn’t be out of their sight.

“Jon come to me…slowly.” She stretched her arm out and grabbed his hand when he was close enough, pulling him down next to her and giving him a hug. Sambo cocked his head interested.

“They think, you hurt me. They must have heard my screams.” Kim told Jon. His eyes grew wide in shock.

“I would never…” he stared at the dogs shocked.

“They don’t know that Jon. They only reacted to my screams.” She leaned forward and called the dogs over.

“I’m fine, baby. He wouldn’t hurt me.” She gently caressed the dogs heads before slowly leading Jon’s right hand to pet Kidd and Sambo as well.

“It’s ok boys.” She assured them. “Go back downstairs. Go!”

Reluctantly the dogs moved to the door and walked down the stairs again. When Jon closed the door behind them. Sambo gave him a long look.

Chapter 66

Kim sighed and sat down in the last row of the studio. The band would record their interview with James Lipton for ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio’ today and Jon asked her to come with him. She was very happy about the offer, especially after the last week’s events.

Since he returned to New York two days ago, they didn’t have a quiet minute. Actually they only saw each other, because they wanted to check on Jesse at the same time.

When Dorothea informed Jon about the incident after they had been at the hospital and found out that Jesse’s rips were not broken, he called her rather angry. She couldn’t believe it. He was mad that she didn’t call him first, but Dorothea.

She tried to stay calm, tried to tell herself that he was a worried parent who wasn’t able to be with his hurt kid right now. When she explained to him that she need one of Jesse’s legal representative with her at the hospital to get the necessary x-ray done, he hung up on her.

She wanted to call him back, but only got his voicemail. After the beep she left a rather harsh message, telling him to cool off and call her back in the morning when he should be able to think clearly again.

Exactly 6:30 am the next morning her phone rang and he told her he was sorry. He was just so frustrated that he couldn’t be there for his son and that his so called best friends treated him like this.

Jesse and him had a long talk on the phone and his son assured him that she was great and only started to give him a hard time when he tried to keep some of the things to himself. Kim had to admit she was surprised he confessed it to his father.

Jon sounded very frustrated and down on the phone and Kim wished she could wrap her arms around him and tell him everything would be fine again. Apparently he had the same need with Jesse. To give him some back-up and encourage him to stay away from the cigarettes even though his friends wouldn’t support him, Jon promised Jesse to buy him a Mustang for his 16th birthday.

His son immediately promised to never touch a cigarette again in his whole life. Kim smiled when she remembered Jesse’s excited face when she was visiting him. He was sitting in bed with a bunch of pillows behind his back and scanned through the newest Mustang models. He didn’t seem to mind that he had to wait over a year to get the car.

And now she was sitting here alone and waiting for the recording to start. Unfortunately Fran couldn’t be with her, because Jason got sick with a cold and fever. She really wished she could have talked to Fran in person about all this, still wondering if her reaction maybe were wrong or not appropriated. But she only had a short talk with Fran on the phone and she could tell her best friend wasn’t completely into it, but checking on her sick son.

Rich and Fran didn’t seem to have any problems when it came down to their kids. Kim knew that they sat down and talked about their future. How they wanted their kids to live, what would be important for them, when they move in together and even if they wanted to have kids together.

Jon and her never talked about those things. They simply jumped into their relationship and even though Kim hated to admit it, she got the feeling that the way they were living their lives right now could be incompatible.

Not only the events with Jesse brought this thought to her mind, but also their separation due to his work and the less time they would spend together in the next months. She knew very well, that he couldn’t make any huge changes in his live and she wouldn’t want him to, but she wasn’t sure she could just give up her job, everything that defined her life in the last years. She was a doctor with every beat of her heart. She sighed deeply. They really needed to talk.

******************

“I’m sorry.” It were the first words Jon said when she opened her door. She went back home after the show was recorded and he promised her to come over a little later.

“I know, Jon. You already said that.” Kim told him softly, when he handed her a single red rose.

“And then why do I get the feeling that something is still nagging on you.” He wondered when he pulled her down on the couch next to him. She sighed.

“Because it is.”

“What’s wrong, honey?” he was starting to get concerned.

“Wrong? Nothing, not really I would say.” She got to her feet again and started pacing through the room. Jon watched her irritated.

“We never talked about how things should go on. Where we gonna live? What’s important? What about kids? We just jumped into all of this.” She pointed out.

“Honey, why should we plan all that? Why don’t we take it as it comes.” He tried to wrap his arms around her, but she pulled away.

“You don’t understand, Jon! I need to know if you see a future for us together, if you want more kids or not, if you wanna live in New York, New Jersey or somewhere else.”

“Why is at all so important?” the forcefulness in her voice confused him.

“Because I need to know all this before I make dramatic changes to my life.”

“Changes? What changes?”

“I’m thinking about quitting my job.” She told him very calm all of a sudden. She thought about it over and over again in the last couple hours. If she really wanted to spend her live with him, this was the only way it could happen.

Jon stared at her.

“Jon, I wanna be together with you. It’s not possible when you are touring the globe and I’m stuck here in New York.”

“But you love your job.” He was totally taken aback by her decision. She smiled softly.

“Yeah, I do. And I’m not saying, I’ll never work as a doctor again, but I think if we really wanna give this a try, we have to be together.” She stepped closer to him and wrapped her arms around his body.

“We don’t even know, if we are able to live together. We spend a couple days together and then we both go separated ways again.” She pointed out. He nodded.

“Yeah, I know. I thought,… I don’t know, maybe we move in together after the tour.” She laughed out loud.

“Jon, the Tour is going to last for nearly two years. I’m sorry to say this, but if we kill each other while living together, I would like to know a little bit earlier.” He sighed.

“Yeah, maybe you are right. Seems I didn’t really think that through.” He frowned a little. “I wonder how Rich and Fran are doing it?” Kim looked at him surprised.

“She is moving in with him in LA late January, Jon. Don’t you know?” He stared at her.

“Why didn’t Rich tell me?”

“I don’t know, you gotta ask him. Fran and him already got the school waiting for Jason in LA, got him a new guitar teacher, …well, besides Rich…. and they picked out wall colors for Jason’s room together with Ava when they were in LA.”

“Wow! They really got it planned, huh?” She nodded.

Now he could understand where her sudden uneasiness was coming from. Maybe he would have reacted the same if Rich told him about his plans. It was weird. Normally he was the organized one and Rich was just going with the flow. It seemed this time his brother wanted to make everything right and not repeat the mistakes he’d made before.

“So, how we gonna do it?” he wondered. Kim sighed.

“I don’t know. Maybe we think about the apartment situation first. Yours, mine or maybe a new one?” Jon nodded.

“Yours would make sense because of the dogs.” He pointed out.

“But you would no longer that close to your kids.” He nodded again.

“Right.”

“Maybe we should think about it for a little while, before making a rushed decision here today. Besides I need to notify my boss and honestly I would like to stay till they find a replacement. I would feel bad leaving them short-staffed. The doctors are already working overtime. I don’t want it to affect the patients.”

“Ok, I can understand that.” He reached for her hand and pulled her close to him.

“Can I have some nice time with my girlfriend now?” He grinned at her.

“What do you have in mind?” she asked cocking her head.

“This.” He whispered before kissing her passionate.

Chapter 65

“Jesse? Are you ok?” Dorothea rushed into the apartment.

“I’m fine, mom.”

Dorothea looked at Kim for confirmation.

“We should take him to hospital to make sure his rips ain’t broken, it hurt him when I examined him, but besides that it’s just bruises and scratched. His retina isn’t damaged. The eye is just extremely swollen. He was lucky.”

Dorothea nodded understanding and looked back at her son. He looked terrible. It made her heart arch to see one of her babies like this, but at the same time anger flamed up in her. She already saw his hands and she knew he used karate. He just wasn’t used to really fighting. He was out of training.

“Any explanation?” she asked him.

“Nope!” his voice had the same annoyed ton his father’s voice would get when he didn’t wanna talk about something. Dot sucked in a breath. Jon’s behaviour was one thing, but she wouldn’t let her son talk this way with her.

“JESSE JAMES BONGIOVI! You better watch your attitude Mister! You don’t have any right to be snippy here!”

Jesse spit out a ‘Yes ma’am’ as fast as possible. Everybody knew you had bad cards with his mom when she used your full name.

“What were you thinking? Didn’t I tell you over and over again you should not attack someone with karate? You only defend yourself!”

“Yes ma’am.”

“That’s all you are going to say? Yes, ma’am? I’m waiting for an explanation, Jesse. And I hope it’s a good one!”

Jess swallowed hard. The look on his mother’s face was pretty frightening. He already knew he was in trouble, but not that bad. Hopefully his dad could help him to put oil on troubled waters.

“Some guys at school wanted me to smoke again.” He said and shortly glanced at Kimberly.

She shook her head. Interesting! Now they were no longer his friends. Dorothea didn’t miss Jesse glance.

“I’ll take you got another version.” She asked. Kim only nodded.

“HEY…!!” Jesse shouted angry at her.

“What Jesse? Do you really think I’m gonna lie to your mother?” Kim stepped closer to the couch and stared at him with anger as well.

“Do you really think that? You will not outplay us, Jesse! This is not about getting the best deal for you out of this! Dammit, tell her the truth and I’m pretty sure she’ll  understand your reaction.”

Dot looked her interested. “Oh, really?”

“I said understand not tolerate.” Kim clarified. The other woman nodded.

“So?” Dot crossed her arms in front of her body and looked at her son expectant. Jesse gulped. Great, now he had to deal with two angry women. He really wished his father would be there.

“Andy, Mark, Tim and Brad wanted me to smoke.” Jess admitted.

“Oh, how nice. The so called best friends beat you up like this. Isn’t it sweet.” Dorothea shook her head. She really needed to talk to their parents this time. They weren’t making nothing but trouble when they all were together, Jesse included.

“So, that’s what this was all about? A cigarette?” It seemed a little bit odd to her even though they were talking about teenage boys here.

Jesse pressed his lips together and didn’t look at her.

“Jesse.” Kim said softly. Dorothea shot Kimberly a look.

“Jesse, why don’t you tell her? I can leave you two alone, if you don’t want me to hear it.” Kim offered softly.

“I’m not gonna tell her!” Jesse sat up slowly and threw the ice pack on the couch.

“Jesse, lay down again.” Kim went over to him. If some of his rips were really broken, it wasn’t good for him to sit up or walk around.

“No, I’m fucking damn fine.” He growled and got to his feet.

“Jesse!” Dorothea said sternly.

“No, God dammit! Gimme a break!” he cursed and limped out onto the terrace. Dot shook her head and tried to go after him.

“No, wait Dorothea. Give him some time to cool off.” Kim stepped into her way. The other woman stared at her as if she was nuts.

“Just a couple minutes. He won’t go anywhere.”

“Ok, but I don’t like it that he is alone out there.” Dot agreed.

“No problem.” Kim turned to her dogs. “Kidd, Sambo…Go!” she pointed with her outstretched arm to the terrace and the dogs immediately went outside into the same direction were Jesse went.

“You really named them ‘Kidd and Sambo’? Dot asked amused.

“Yeah, Fran suggested it and was so damn right with it.” Kim laughed. She was glad Dorothea wasn’t angry about her interfering.

“How about a cup of tea?” Kim asked.

“Yeah, sounds great.” Dot sighed and followed Kim into the kitchen.

“Did you already informed, Jon?”

“No, I called you first. If I wouldn’t have been able to get a hold of you, I would have called him. Besides I think this is something you and him need to discuss and work on together.” She told her and handed her the tea.

“Yeah, you are probably right. This is all just very confusing. Jesse never was in a fight before, well not physically. Normally he has his temper under control, way better than Steph actually.” Dorothea looked into the direction of the patio thoughtful. Kim hesitated a moment.

“Well, I guess that depends on what someone would say to him.” Dorothea turned to her surprised.

“He told you?”

“No, not really. Let’s say I know the topic, but he didn’t tell me any details. And I didn’t press. I don’t think I’m in the position to do so.”

“Hmmm…and what was the topic?” Dorothea wanted to know.

“You.” The brunette chocked at her tea.

“Me?” she asked irritated.

“Yes, apparently someone said something about you that made Jesse flip out.” Kim told her. Dot studied her face for a minute, before she was sure Kim really didn’t know anything.

“Excuse me for a minute.” she set her tea down and walked out onto the patio.

Kim put their tea cups into the dishwasher and put away her medical equipment, before calling ahead to the hospital and inform them that she would show up with a patient that needed a chest x-ray.

When she was just wondering what she could do next Dorothea re-entered the apartment.

“This is unbelievable! Apparently I’m a MILF!”

“What?” Kim stared at her confused.

“Mother I like to fuck!” Dot explained. “Since I’m divorced and hot - according to these stupid boys - they wonder if I scream in passion when I come during sex.”

Kim wanted to say something, but had no idea what to say. Actually she had to fight very hard right now not to laugh. Dorothea saw the traitorous twitch around the corners of her mouth though.

“You are right, this could be really funny, if my son wouldn’t look the way he is looking right now.” She pointed out and couldn’t help to chuckle herself.

“What’s wrong with those boys?” Kim wondered and started to grin.

“I have no idea. You tell me. How high is the overload of hormones in a teenage boy’s body?”

“Actually not much higher than in a 75 year old.” Kim informed her.

“Well, than these older gentlemen simply learned when to keep their mouth shut!“ she answered before erupting into laughter.

Chapter 64

“Oh, Sambo! Stop it!”

Kim’s voice had a hard edge when she yelled at her dog. He ducked immediately and walked over to his buddy Kidd, who already made sure a couple hours ago to get out of her way. She sighed when she saw her two loyal friends sitting by the patio door completely unsure what to do.

She felt horrible. It wasn’t her dogs fault that Jon wasn’t here. Actually it was nobody’s fault, he simply had to work, but it sucked not seeing him.

Kim sighed again and let herself fall on the couch.

“Come here babies.” She softly called Sambo and Kidd. They watched her for a second before reluctantly moving towards her.

“God, I’m sorry.” She hugged them both dearly when they sat down in front of her.

“I shouldn’t have yelled at you. I just miss him so much.” She told Sambo and his calm brown eyes seemed to understand her.

She never imagined it would be this bad. Jon had only left 48 hours ago for a short trip to Europe before the new album would be released tomorrow and she was already a mess. She had no idea how she should survive the tour, she would go crazy.

He’d warned her that it would be tough. He’d been through it a million times and still it was wearing on him when he had to pack his stuff and leave the ones he loved behind. She told him not to worry, she would be fine.

The funny thing was she really thought she would.

But the last two days had shown her that he was right. She felt as if an essential part of her was missing and the fact that he wasn’t able to call her yesterday evening didn’t help lifting her mood either.

Fran wasn’t feeling any different, she was suffering too. So they both decided to watch ‘their men’ perform in Berlin, Germany at the celebration of the Fall of the wall. Thanks to Kim’s satellite TV they were able to get the channel. But watching them at the Brandenburg Gate in the pouring rain only made them feel worse.

Kim nearly screamed in frustration when the short interview with Jon was over and they moved on to the next highlight of the evening.

“I’m so screwed.” She whispered to herself and shook her head just when her phone rang.

“Yes.”

“Miss Anderson you have a visitor. His name is Jesse Bongiovi and may I add, I think he really needs your help.” Ed informed her.

“Okaaaay. Bring him up, Ed.” Kim said a little confused.

Why was Jesse here? And why would he need her help?

A few minutes later the elevator doors opened and Ed led a limping Jesse to her door or better he half carried him.

“Oh my God, Jesse. What happened?” Kim was shocked.

His right eye was bruised and had already started to swell shut, his bottom lip was bleeding, he had several bruises and scratches on his arms and hands and parts of his shirt were ripped.

“I’m fine Kim really.” The boy tried to tell her, but seemed relieved when Ed deposited him on the couch.

“Yeah, sure I can see that.” She replied dryly and got her medical bag and suitcase out of the closet.

“Should I call an ambulance, Miss Anderson? Do you need any help?” Ed asked concerned.

“No, thanks Ed. I think we’ll be fine. But you can prepare for another visitor in a couple minutes. Mrs. Dorothea Bongiovi. Just send her up, please.”

Jesse winced when Kim mentioned his mother. He really hoped he could avoid seeing her today, even though he had no idea how.

“Kim do you really need to call mom?” Jess started.

“Oh yes, I have to.” She told him in a strict voice and reached for her phone. Ed grinned shortly at the contrite boy and left with the promise to send Dorothea up as soon as she arrived.

“Ok, let’s see how big the damage is.” Kim told Jesse after she had a short talk with Dorothea who promised to come over and started to check his eye. It seemed it was only bruised and nothing else was damaged. To be sure that he didn’t suffer a retinal tear, she carefully applied some colored eye drops.

Fortunately no scratches became visible after a few minutes. They just had to make sure the eye wouldn’t swell too much. Without saying a word Kim handed him an ice pack.

“Kim, I…” Jesse wanted to say something, but she stopped him.

“Not now, Jesse. First I gotta make sure you don’t have to be transferred into hospital. So if you are not in pain all of a sudden or my treatment is causing you too much discomfort. It can wait!”

“Ok.” He nodded and Kim continued to clean his lips and the other small cuts and scratches on his body.

When she checked the upper part of his body Jesse winced. She looked at him concerned.

“Did this hurt, Jess?” she asked and palpated his costal arch again.

“Yeah.” He hissed through his teeth.

“Do you have any difficulties breathing?” She put on her stethoscope.

“No.” he shook his head. Kim looked at him for a second.

“Well, I guess we’ll take a trip to the hospital as soon as your mom is here. We have to make sure your rips ain’t broken, but only suffered a contusion.” Jesse groaned at her explanation.

“Tell me what happened, Jesse.” She encouraged him while putting a suspensory bandage around his chest.

“Nothing.”

“Oh, come on, Jess. Don’t play stupid with me!” He sighed and frowned.

“I got into a fight with some friends.” He finally admitted.

“Some friends. Well, that’s nice. I don’t wanna know how you would have looked when this wouldn’t have been your friends.” The sarcasm way dripping thick from her voice. He gave her an angry look, looking a lot like his father at the moment.

“Come on, Jesse…talk. You know you have to as soon as your mom shows up. See this as a test run to find good arguments, because I’m pretty sure you’ll need them.”

Even though Kim didn’t have the chance to watch Dorothea and her two older kids interact, she was pretty sure she wouldn’t tolerate any fighting, even though she was teaching her children karate. And the way Jesse hands looked, swollen and bruised, she was pretty sure he used the skills his mother taught him.

“They wanted me to smoke…and then they said something about Mom.” He added a little embarrassed and blushed.

“And that made you angry.” Kim said softly and ran her hand through his hair.

“Yeah, you don’t say things like that about my Mom!”

Anger flamed up in his eyes again. Kim nodded understanding. She didn’t ask what was said, she knew he wouldn’t tell her. It was already amazing enough that he came to her first and didn’t check in with someone who had been way longer in his life than her.
