“Jon, we really need to get going now.” Kim tried to push him away from her lightly.
“Wait, I think you still have gold color there…” he leaned forward and kissed her neck. Kim moaned. He was driving her crazy. They already did it twice in the shower this morning while he was helping her remove the gold shiny body paint.
“Jon, stop it…” she could barely hear her own voice. Her body reacted so instantly to his touch and she missed him so damn much. Her gaze fell to the alarm clock.
“JON! STOP!”
“Ok, ok…” he jumped back breathing heavy.
“You are lethal Mister.” She told him while trying to get her breathing under control as well. He grinned devilish.
“Ok, I’m out of here.” She ripped the door open and escaped into the corridor. One more minute alone with him and they would never make to Richie’s suite for breakfast yet alone to the airport on time.
“Oh, come on Kimi…” she could hear his laugh while she was walking down the corridor.
“Grrr…nice heels, hon.” Jon purred into her ear when he caught up with her.
“Jesus, Jon.” She muttered under her breath when his right hand travelled slowly over her ass while she was knocking at Richie’s door.
“Hi guys.” Kim smiled at the surprised faces when she entered the suite where everyone was already situated for breakfast before they would fly to Miami together.
“Oh thank God!” David shouted and jumped up to give her a big hug. She laughed.
“Was he that bad?”
“You have no idea, sweetheart. You have no idea.” Richie answered and placed a kiss on her cheek.
“Like you were easy to handle.” Jon told him, grinning at his friend’s contrite face.
“Great to see you, Kim.” Tico hugged her gently and offered her his seat. “Would you like some coffee?”
“Orange juice?” David kneeled down in front of her, bowed his head demur and held his glass up.
“Croissant, eggs, bacon or fruits, my lady?” Richie bowed as well and made an inviting gesture towards the tray.
“Assholes!” Jon grumbled and sat down in an armchair. They all laughed. Kim got to her feet and walked over to him.
“I missed you too, Jon.” She said and carefully sit down on his lap. He smirked and pulled her close for a long kiss.
“Awww, ain’t they sweet?” David chirped.
“See them coming down the street…” Rich sang slightly modifying the 1927 classic.
“Now I ask you very confidentially…” David joined him.
“Ain’t they sweet.” Tico’s voices dropped as deep as possible and made Kim shiver.
“Oh, just wait until your girl are here.”
“They are all coming?” Kim asked and took a sip of coffee.
“Well, we hope they all will tonight.” David waggled with his eyebrows.
“Perv!”
“Oh, come on you were all thinking the same.” He grinned.
“To answer your question, Kim. They are all flying in. New York, LA and well Miami.” Tico grinned. His wife would come with his son to the hotel. He couldn’t wait to see them again, even though they were talking on the phone every day.
Kim forced a smile on her face and suddenly had no longer an appetite. Jon watched her pushing her scrambled eggs and bacon around on the plate.
“Don’t worry honey. You and the girls will get along. It won’t be like Thanksgiving and you already met Lexi at David’s birthday party.” He caressed her hand with his thumb.
“Well, you can’t really say that. She was very busy hosting the party and keeping your keyboard player in check. We only exchanged two or three words. It’s not that we got to know each other.” And I haven’t met Alejandra yet, she continued the thought.
“Hey, I wasn’t that bad…was I?” David looked questioning at Tico.
“Let’s say everything got a little bit out of hands, Lemma. And I’m very glad my wife was in Florida.” The drummer answered dryly. His wife hated it when he was drunk and like every Latin woman let him feel her disapproval for days.
His son was smart enough to catch a cold and get a fever, which made Ali stay at home and not fly to New York for David’s birthday and saved him a lot of misery and apologizing.
David pouted lightly. He knew he got drunk like hell, not because he could remember drinking that much, but he woke up with a hell of a hangover. His band mates were no help, they could barely remember anything themselves and Richie, the only person who stayed sober that night, refused to give him any clues. He was just guessing that he didn’t do anything stupid because his wife was still talking to him.
“I take it Momma B. showed her best side?” David asked without pressing them for more information, knowing very well he wouldn’t get any and filled his plate with food again.
“Yep, apparently my young, stupid blonde girlfriend is only after my money.” Jon said dryly. Kim shook her head grinning lightly. The other’s just stared at them.
“She really said that?” Rich asked in disbelieve. He could see how much the words hurt Kim.
“Yes.” Kim answered simply. Tico shook his head. Sometimes Jon’s mother was really rude. He had no doubt it was rather unpleasant for Kim to meet her.
“Don’t worry, Kim. Ali or Lexi ain’t like her. They are a lot like you and Fran.” He assured her.
“They get along pretty well with Dot, so I don’t think there should be a problem.” David agreed.
Kim relaxed lightly. She knew Dorothea wouldn’t make friends with someone she didn’t like, besides Dot didn’t gave her a warning for Lexi or Alejandra, only for Heather.
